Ace Inflatables Terms & Conditions

CASTLES WILL BE COLLECTED AT DUSK UNLESS ADEQUATE LIGHTING IS PROVIDED

IT IS A CONDITION OF INSURANCE THAT WE WILL NOT AND CAN NOT HIRE AN INFLATABLE TO BE SET-UP ON COMMUNAL OR PUBLIC LAND WITHOUT THE WRITTEN CONSENT OF THE LEGAL LAND OWNER.

Two copies of this document will need to be signed on the day of your hire, one will be handed back to you and act as your receipt, and one we will keep for our records and Insurance purposes.

Please follow all these guidelines so you can have a safe and trouble free hire.

ALL EQUIPMENT REMAINS THE PROPERTY OF ACE INFLATABLES AND MUST BE SECURE AND NOT LEFT UNATTENDED AT ALL TIMES.

HIRE WILL ONLY BE AGREED WITH A RESPONSIBLE PERSON OVER THE AGE OF 18 WITH A VALID LANDLINE TELEPHONE NUMBER

IT IS THE CONDITION OF HIRE THAT YOU WILL BE LIABLE FOR, THE SAFE KEEPING AND SECURITY OF ALL THE EQUIPMENT AT ALL TIMES WHILE ON HIRE TO YOU, ALL REPAIR & CLEANING COSTS IN CONNECTION WITH ANY DAMAGE, ABUSE OR MISUSE OF THE HIRED INFLATABLE.

IT IS THEREFORE SUGGESTED THAT YOU READ AND FOLLOW THE GUIDE LINES AS LISTED BELOW.

An adult should remain in attendance at all times to provide constant supervision.

Children’s castles have an age limit of 12 YEARS MAXIMUM and are for use by CHILDREN ONLY. Any cost of repairs that have to be carried out caused by adults using the Inflatable will be borne by the hirer.

Ensure that users remove shoes, and any SHARP objects, such as jewellery, badges or combs before use. Spectacles and mobile phones must be removed.

NO body taller than the outside wall while standing on the bouncing bed to use the Inflatable.

DO NOT ALLOW anyone to run around the outside of the Inflatable, switch off the fan at the mains whilst others are using the Inflatable, or plug anything into our power supply this can be very dangerous.

DO NOT ALLOW anyone to climb up or hang off the sides of the Inflatable. Do not allow anyone to bounce on the front step of the Inflatable.

If the Inflatable has a slide attached, users MUST slide down FEET FIRST, NOT HEAD FIRST.

Use of soapy water, silly string, party poppers, coloured streamers and face paints are strictly prohibited. These will stain the Inflatable. Cost of removal, cleaning & repair will be borne by the hirer if used on any Inflatable. A charge of £40 will be levied for cleaning, repairs will be charged at cost plus carriage, plus any loss of hires while being repaired.

NEVER allow the Inflatable to become overcrowded. It is safer to match users into age or height ranges in order to minimize the risk of someone getting hurt. Please check age suitability before hiring equipment. Do not allow users over the recommended height or age to use the Inflatable.

If the inflatable is being used at a public event you MUST supply perimeter fencing for crowd control, you (the hirer) must supply a minimum of 2 attendants per unit for constant supervision.

Whilst we are covered by our own insurance, if charging a fee to the public, or hiring for your own private use it may be necessary to take out your own Public Liability Insurance to cover the event.

NOTE When the Inflatable is not in use it is fine to switch off the fan. When switching the fan back on however, ensure that the fitting connecting the air pipe to the fan is tightly secured, and that nothing is blocking the sides of the fan, before re-inflating. If any customer complains that the Inflatable is soft, and our engineers attend to find that these checks were not carried out a £10 call out charge will be levied.

ADVERSE WEATHER CONDITIONS Ace Inflatables will not deem cancellation of any event after installation of the Inflatable due to the weather cause for a refund. For Inflatables supplied with rain covers, please note that some covers are designed to keep out light showers of rain only, and will NOT cope with severe weather conditions. In the event of rain, it is advised that you keep the Inflatable running, but please ensure all electrical goods are covered. Towel dry the step areas before recommencing use, to avoid slipping. In the case of high winds, discontinue use immediately and contact Ace Inflatables for advice.

All Inflatables will be run using your own electricity source, unless otherwise indicated at the time of booking. If you are more than 25meters from a suitable EARTHED electric supply, please advise us before the event in order that extra cable or a generator can be supplied. We cannot be held responsible nor give any refunds, should your power supply be interrupted through fault of your power provider.

We cannot be held responsible if the Inflatable you have booked does not fit on delivery and you will be charged the full hire price. Please check access to the site, i.e. gates and doors should be at least 32 inches (80cm) wide. At no time will the Inflatable be delivered through the inside of a house. Please allow a minimum of 1.2 metres (four foot) clearance all around the Inflatable & 1 foot (30cm) clearance above the Inflatable if it is to be sited indoors. (Some halls have low ceilings, and gardens should be free from overhanging trees, sharp bushes, animal mess, also holes, paths or man holes that will be under the Inflatable when installed).

Where mats are provided, these MUST be kept in their appropriate positions and used at all times. Inflatables are supplied with ground sheets if deemed necessary, which give an area for shoes to be removed.

Hire time is normally up to six hours unless other arrangements have been made with us prior to the hire date. The price will remain as stated or listed on our website, whether the hire period is longer or shorter than the six hour period. Should a cancellation be made, no further charges would be levied if Ace Inflatables are notified before delivery has been made. FULL BALANCE OF HIRE COSTS TO BE PAID, BEFORE COMMENCING USE OF THE UNIT. No exceptions to this rule. CASH ONLY if payment is to be made on delivery.

In the extremely unlikely event of a problem occurring impairing use of the Inflatable, Ace Inflatables must be notified IMMEDIATELY.

An answer phone service may be in operation but ALL emergency calls made to the mobile number will be dealt with as priority. Any complaint received after the hire period, will not be validated. NEVER use faulty equipment.

WHILST EVERY ENDEAVOUR WILL BE MADE TO SUPPLY CASTLES BOOKED, WE CANNOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR CIRCUMSTANCES BEYOND OUR CONTROL, WHICH DEEMS IT IMPOSSIBLE TO SUPPLY GOODS ORDERED. IN ALL CIRCUMSTANCES WHEREBY SPECIFIC GOODS ARE UNAVAILABLE AN UPGRADED UNIT FOR NO EXTRA CHARGE WILL BE OFFERED, OR A FULL REFUND OF ALL MONIES PAID.

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES MUST ANY INFLATABLE UNIT BE REMOVED FROM ITS SECURED POSITION WITHOUT PRIOR KNOWLEDGE OF ACE INFLATABLES. ALL INSURANCE CLAIMS WILL BE DEEMED INVALID IF PERSONS UNAUTHORISED BY ACE INFLATABLES ARE INVOLVED WITH SETTING UP OR REPOSITIONING ANY INFLATABLE.

WHEN SIGNING FOR GOODS YOU ARE ENTERING INTO A CONTRACT BETWEEN YOU (The Hirer) AND ACE INFLATABLES.

BY SIGNING THIS AGREEMENT YOU CONFIRM THAT YOU HAVE READ AND UNDERSTOOD THE TERMS & CONDITIONS ABOVE AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THEM, CONFIRMING RECEIPT OF THE “SAFETY SHEET”, ALL GOODS YOU ARE HIRING AS HAVING NO DEFECTS OR FAULTS. PLEASE INSPECT GOODS TO YOUR SATISFACTION AND ASK ABOUT ANY POINTS YOU ARE UNSURE OF BEFORE CONFIRMING ACCEPTANCE OF GOODS. ACE INFLATABLES WILL TAKE LEGAL ACTION THROUGH THE COURTS IF NECESSARY TO CLAIM ANY MONEY OWED IN CONNECTION WITH THIS CONTRACT.

PLEASE MAKE SURE UNITS ARE INFLATED AND READY FOR COLLECTION AT THE AGREED TIME.

IMPORTANT NOTICE provided that the equipment is used in accordance with the above guidelines and conditions of hire, those using the inflatable should do so safely. However, accidents can happen.

Ace Inflatables can accept no liability for injuries sustained or any other loss, howsoever caused, in the absence of the negligence of Ace Inflatables or its employees. As the equipment will be in the hirers possession and control whilst in use rather than Ace Inflatables, any liability for injuries or other losses caused other than in the circumstances described above rests with the hirer. Accordingly, it is strongly recommended that the hirer has adequate public liability insurance covering his or her liability arising from the use of the inflatable.
